Austin Henderson is an artist, writer, and cultural worker based in Tiohtià:ke / Mooniyang / Montréal.
Austin holds an MA in Art History from Concordia University and a BFA in Visual Art from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. His work is attentive to community-focused practices, queer histories and futures, and popular visual culture.
His work has been exhibited in Canada and the United States, and he has participated in residencies with The New York Academy of Art and Momus. Austin's recent writing has been published in C Magazine, esse arts + opinions and Visual Arts News.
